Our school promotes a positive learning environment for students by implementing a variety of programs practices. Exemplary behavior is recognized with positive comments, awards, stickers, public recognition, reward time at the counseling center, just to name a few. Counselors provide opportunities for students to learn good work habits, develop problem-solving skills, resolve conflicts, and enhance self-esteem.
Class Size
To ensure each student receives an appropriate level of individual attention and support, class sizes are kept as small as possible. The class size, per SDEA Contract is as follows:
- TK: 20 students, 2teachers
- Kindergarten - Third Grade: 24 students, 1 teacher
- Fourth & Fifth Grade: 34 students, 1 teacher
- ESN class: 12 students, 3 teachers
